Delicious Peace

A friend of mine from college works for Fort Bragg based fair trade Thanksgiving Coffee Company and works with a most amazing coffee cooperative in Uganda, one made of more than 700 Jewish, Christian and Muslim coffee growers working side by side. The cooperative is called Merembe Kawomera, which means "delicious peace" (you may have noticed the link on the front page of my blog under "Fellow Truth Seekers" that will take you to their blog). O Magazine (as in Oprah) recently did a story on this inspiring cooperative. Check out the story (and considering buying some Merembe Kawomera "Delicious Peace Coffee" next time you plan to pick up a bag). I find this cooperative to be an inspiring example of how we can better build unity in this world.
